Maria's Italian Kitchen's 20 year anniversary ceremony will be held on Thursday, June 13, starting at 12:00 pm. Please join us for lunch afterwards. Mayor Tornek will be in attendance, as well as our owner and CEO Madelyn Alfano, and Maria herself. The following is a message from Madelyn remembering the day we opened 20 years ago.
It was 1999 when we celebrated the opening of our Pasadena Marias. My mom, Maria, my dad Donald and our family, friends and loyal customers all came to support us. I was overcome with emotion while posing for this Photo because My Dad turned to me and said "I'm so proud of you. This is a beautiful store!" My mom then said to him, "What do you expect? She always wants the best for the customers!" My smile got even wider! After 20 years I am proud of our Pasadena team and the community of loyal Marias customers we serve.
