Cheeseburger Week Includes Many Specials, Unique Burger Creations, Fresh Participants and More During Cheeseburger Week® January 25th to January 31st.
Suggested Cheeseburger Crawls Include New Routes Paying Tribute to the 100th Anniversary of Route 66 and 150th Anniversary of Colorado Boulevard
The Pasadena Chamber of Commerce, promoter of Cheeseburger Week in Pasadena, announced several new participating restaurants along with offerings and special deals from participants. “This year we are pleased to have new restaurants joining in the Cheeseburger Week fun,” said Pasadena Chamber CEO Paul Little. “A lot of our participants are offering specials deals and some even created special burgers for Cheeseburger Week.”
New restaurants joining the Cheeseburger Week include Mr. Mushroom Burger Farm; Kulturas Latin Kitchen and Cantina; Islands and Foothill. Only Pasadena Chamber members can participate in the official Cheeseburger Week 2026. A full list of participants can be found at www.pasadenarestaurantweek.com.
Restaurants that created special burgers for Cheeseburger Week 2026 or have special pricing include:
- Pie 'n Burger (Cheeseburger or Burger Combo with small side and soft drink for $17 + tax + tip). Download the coupon at

- Foothill has their special El Greco burger made with special spies, feta cheese, jalapeno and settled on a Homeboy Bakery bun.
- Deluxe 1717 has a special Kebab Burger with Ajika Aioli, grilled veggie slaw, Grutere or Halloumi cheese, pickled red onions and garlic Cilantro Labne.
- The Taproom at the Langham Huntington Hotel has special "Animal Style" Empanadas on the menu for Cheeseburger Week.
- El Portal and Yahaira's (Special Zacatecas Burger only available during Cheeseburger Week)
- Magnolia House has a special French Onion Burger on the menu ($25 with fries).
- Dog Haus (Haus Burger, fountain drink or beer for $10 + tax + tip)
- Dog Haus Biergarten (Haus Burger, Fountain drink, beer or well shot for $10 + tax + tip)
- Kathleen's Restaurant (Complimentary soft drink with a burger order.) Featuring their Avocado Bacon Burger.
- Kulturas Latin Kitchen and Cantina gives an 8oz. margarita with a Double Cheeseburger.
- Lucky Baldwin's Pub, Trappiste Pub and Delerium Pub offer their three signature burgers as sliders with a tasting flight of beer for $20.
- New York Chicken and Gyros offers 50% off all cheeseburgers.
- Mr. Mushroom Burger Farm has special pricing and new menu items.
The Pasadena Chamber also suggests “Cheeseburger Crawls” where friends and family get together and visit more than one restaurant. Ordering a burger at each one and sampling four or more eateries. New for 2026 are Route 66 themed crawls organized among restaurants along the “Mother Road” that celebrates 100 years of ferrying travelers from Chicago to Los Angeles in 1926.
New for 2026 among Cheeseburger Crawls are:
- West Route 66 Cheeseburger Crawl: Lucky Baldwin's Pub, True Food Kitchen, Mi
- Piace (Panino con Polpette - panini with meatball and marinara) and Barney's Beanery.
- Central Route 66 Cheeseburger Crawl: El Portal or Yahaira's in Arcade Lane, The Stand on El Molino, Urth Cafe and Ruth's Chris Steak House (burger only available in the bar/lounge).
- East Route 66 Cheeseburger Crawl: Lucky Baldwin's Trappiste Pub at 1717 East Colorado, Hummus Labs on Colorado near Mentor (for the Beef Kafta Kebab); next door to Chamo Venezuelan Cuisine (for Arepas and a Polar beer) and Pasadena Hotel and Pool for a tasty cheeseburger and drinks in their Comet Club bar.
- Alternate Route 66 Cheeseburger Crawl (because Route 66 went through Pasadena a couple of different ways): Start out at 1520 West Colorado and catch a glimpse of the Cheeseburger Plaque commemorating the site of the original Rite Spot and Lionel Sternberger's place of inspiration, to Fair Oaks Avenue in South Pasadena and Twohey's where for decades they have been making amazing burgers (including the famous Stinko). Now located in South Pasadena, just north of the freeway, you can enjoy a great burger and a drink, The Raymond 1886 where they have great cocktails, fine food and sliders for Happy Hour and a delicious burger on the brunch menu, and finish at Shake Shack on Arroyo Parkway in Pasadena.

Pasadena restaurants celebrate the invention of the cheeseburger in the city in 1924 during Cheeseburger Week® 2025. 40 restaurants, burger joints and more take part in the citywide celebration Sunday, February 23, 2025, to Saturday, March 1, 2025.

Continuing in 2025 is the Cheeseburger Challenge®. Participants can vote for their favorites in several categories at www.pasadenarestaurantweek.com during Cheeseburger Week®. Added for 2026 is a Cheeseburgers Along Route 66 category.
